"I'm sticking to my guns on this one""Prolly for the best," Tony said, "If you start, I'd just run out that much faster..." He teased. They talked about family, Andrea's family, and Tony had felt the need to let her in a bit. He confided in her that he had not been a great example of a citizen before, had been a criminal himself, and that he had found a sort of salvation in the US Army. His family was the men and women he served with. His team was all he had at the end of the day...he wouldn't want to let them down. "I couldn't agree more."Andy placed his cigarette in the ashtray, and snuggled up close to the soldier. He felt warmth in this moment, and it was like the weight of the world had fallen off his shoulders. "Andy..." Tony said, as he embraced her tightly, "I don't know what I would do without you..."He brushed the hair out of her face, and looked deeply into her eyes. He smiled, before moving in for a kiss. { note: Fail post is fail. I am so sorry }

Times like this often bought on a bad habit, be that smoking or drinking. Andrea was fairly surprised that she had not taken up either, the occasional beer here and there was fine but never anything seldom use. The fact was though times were hard, one had to be aware of there surrounding, she needed to be quick on her feet and in the right frame of mind to get moving if shit turned ugly.
She seemed to have an easier form of stress relief, standing before her. Anthony, he was...amazing right now, he kept the banter up and stopped her from allowing her negative thoughts to consume her mind. He helped her out, had her back and kept her on the right route. They talk about there personal lives, families of sorts and it came to pass that Anthony's family were his colleagues.
Anthony was an evident team player who cared greatly for those around him. He was simply a heart of gold, a caring, loyal guy who probably wasn't given many chances growing up, she got that impression from him. Anthony was the kind of guy some people probably didn't give the chance to understand and Andrea, she was hard to get around but somehow she had warmed to him and opened up a little of herself for him to see.
As he spoke about his team, the concern sure did brew up inside of him. He tried to hide it, he hid it well and mostly better then she would have but she knew that look. Andy took his cigarette from him and placed it down in the small ashtray. Hesitantly, the brunette coiled her arms around him, hugging him tightly in an embrace.
A few silent moments befell them, before Anthony spoke up "Andy..." He began as he continued to embrace her. Andy lifted her head slightly, listening to whatever it was that he had to say. Quite honestly, she was glad that Anthony had began to open up to her, if only just a little right now..because it was progress. No one should have been silenced in this situation, it was as hard as it was already without having to bottle things up.
"I don't know what I would do without you..." Anthony told her, taking her somewhat by surprise. She got it though, she understood what he meant. Sure, they didn't know each other all that well but these times called for bonds and closeness, she needed to feel needed and appreciated and..safe. If she was alone, she'd have been scared out of her wits and she was until she had met Anthony and his team and now...here she was, safe as houses.
The brunette lifted her head up, her eyes scaling Anthony before they found his own eyes. He brushed the hair from her face, gazing deeply into her eyes as a smile fixed his lips. Anthony leant closer to her. Andy smiled gently, inching toward him, more or less having to tip toe to reach him due to the massive height difference.

Tony Glau couldn't believe what he was doing, it was so insane. In this place, in this time...he should have had his guard up more. He should have been more reserved, more controlled...he should have been less taken with the passion of the moment. But he wasn't the machine one would think a man like him would be. He was a man with human frailty, and it was hanging heavy on the air in this moment. Andy had seemingly not been immune to what was happening, as she pulled closer to him.
He brought his lips closer to hers, and made contact. Soft at first, it was like he was a teenaged kid again, on his first date with his sweetheart. Then he pressed a little harder, and picked her up, to make up for the height difference. She was tiny, waiflike in his arms, and the world melted around him as he kissed her deeply. He forgot all about infected, all about the armed men who had apparently killed all the civilians here. He no longer had thought of home, no thought of anything but Andy's lips merging with his. He pulled back, and his head was reeling.
He looked into her eyes, and he felt like he was home. It was a strange feeling, the solace he found her dark eyes. The warmth that filled him as their body's were intertwined, it was like hot cocoa on a cold winter's day. Her lips had tasted like candy, and her dark hair flowed smelled like a garden paradise of floral meadows and fruit orchards. The feeling in his entire being was like being drunk on rich red wine meeting the euphoric ecstasy of an opiate intoxicant. He had never felt that way before, and it frightened him...it would have, at any rate, were he not so caught up in the moment.
"Is it really possible that I'm in love with you, Andy?" He asked, lost and confused.

A situation like this often took people out of their comfort zone and this was no different for Andy. Everything had turned upside down for her, no one left that she cared about and now she was running in a pack with people she barely knew. However little she knew about them and they her, they treated her as an equal and because of that she had a large respect for them. Each one of them heroic in their own way. The fact was they had come here to help those stuck in New York and had ultimately become trapped themselves. It was unfortunate, but without them she wondered where she would be.
At this moment in time Alison and Brian were scouting the area. Everyday someone scoped out the rooftop, overlooking the airport in the hopes that survivors may turn up their and then they'd be able to flag them down. So far, this wasn't happening which made her wonder if anyone else had survived this hell except them. Another case occurred in which she found civilians hurting one another because supplies were low and every man was out for themselves.
She knew that somewhere Anthony's team were positioned, so that was a few more survivors but as for the people in this city...it looked bleak. She and Anthony had depended on one another, getting fairly close as of late and she found herself almost feeling safe with him. He'd saved her, they all had but he had saved her from herself. It was a rarity for the once strong female, but this instance had caused her to become fairly vulnerable.
Despite being vulnerable herself, she did find that she had been the comforter of types. Anthony was struggling, they all were but for the first time since she'd met him he was showing it. Andrea comfortingly hugged him, trying her best to give him the solace that he needed right now. They all needed to depend on one another.
After the moment of a warm embrace passed, the two soon began to find comfort in other forms. He kissed her gently at first, almost in a nervous type of manner before letting his guard down again. In that moment, it seemed that all her troubles fluttered away and for a second everything around her had gone. Of course, when this moment subsided she'd have to face reality again. But, for now, she relished in the feeling as her lips merged with his. Slowly, Anthony reeled away, keeping close as he gazed down at her.
"Is it really possible that I'm in love with you, Andy?" He asked, the confusion clear in his tone. Andy didn't have the answers, their was something there, a spark but...situations like this, people tended to hold dear any moment that approached. It was possible that his feelings had become confused, but if he wanted to call it love then she wasn't going to stop him. Things were hard here and people needed some kind of...stability, some normality and if that came in the form of finding comfort and happiness with others, then so be it. Andy smiled at him "Well, I'd say that It's not completely impossible to feel that way." she replied softly, keeping her eyes on his.
Andrea hugged him "If it's any consolation, I feel the same." She assured him, giving him a squeeze as she once more buried her head into his shoulder "Everything's going to be okay..." She knew that they had an even chance of getting screwed by this thing but, she needed to stay hopeful, they all did because hope was what kept people fighting. Without hope, they were all doomed.

Alison Taylor
It was her turn to watch from the roof. The redhead stood firmly on the centre of the roof, binoculars against her eyes as she overlooked the airport. Everyday they had done this, a routine, on one level hoping that survivors would come but on the other not so much. You see, times were hard and the infected weren't the only things to fear. The city had gone crazy and with it some of the residents too. People were fighting for survival, even if that meant betraying one another and stealing another man's supplies.
Things had been quiet, unmoving for a little while now but just like that and unexpected, a car was seen in the distance. Alison took a step closer, staring through the binoculars. After a moment or so she let them fall to her side and picked up her radio "Hey, we have company." She called through the radio, which would be picked up downstairs alerting the others. Alison didn't go down to them, she waited on position keeping watch.
They'd waited for this. They hadn't planned on staying here for long, just for the time being to keep watch of the airport and gather supplies. The chances were that if they left people would arrive at the airport and be greeted with the same onslaught that she and the others had. She watched them as their vehicle sped toward the airport, crashing through the security gates.
She continued to watch, but as expected shit turned sour. As those within the vehicle emerged, not far away were the previous armed group who'd attempted to take out Alison, Brian and Anthony. She couldn't watch, she couldn't sit back and do nothing. Gripping the binoculars in hand, she sped across the roof and headed down to the stairwell to join the others downstairs. They needed to kit up and help the other survivors.
