It had gotten to the stage where staying indoors had no longer been an option, if they wanted to achieve there goals they needed to make a move now and start searching for answers. The group had chosen, after much discussion to disband and cover more ground. They had meeting points, radio communicators that they used to update one another on there status. They may not have all been together, but they were in closer distance to one another and the first sign of trouble they'd each come running. She took to the streets of Queens, in a bid to locate any possible survivors and thus far...she had found nothing but bodies of those who once happily walked these streets before darker days.
She had managed to secure a local gun store, it was one of those dodgy types of places, on a back street...hidden away from most main roads. To be honest, as far as she could see it was perfect for her and to think she had struck gold when she clocked the delivery van out back, chocked full of various treats that she could use and would you believe the van still had almost a full tank of gas. Alison had made that her 'safe house' if required and from where she was, it was in running distance.
It hadn't fallen dark yet, the sun at its peak, burning brightly upon the dead city below. There hadn't been a whole lot of movement lately, for some time she'd taken spot on the roof of her 'safe house' and could see a few off in the distance but nothing close by. The redhead took to the streets, rifle in hand, side arm strapped to her belt. She was wearing a pair of black jeans, a grey tank, a black jacket and a pair of black military boots. Alison kept her fire arm at her chest, pointing outward ready to fire if need be.
She exhaled deeply, eyes scanning the street around her as she stopped walking. The redhead looked around, everything still silently still, no one walked these streets right now...no survivors and no infected. It was a lonely feeling to have, to be in such a big and once popular city to find yourself seemingly alone. It was a scary thought to say the least, that right now this city was nothing but buildings and desolate streets. The question burned, was it alike this in other places? was it just New York that had been struck with such devastation?...she could only hope that others had not met this same fate.
Alison hoped, she prayed that she made it out of this shit hole and when she did she would happily reunite with her boy. He was staying with family, out of the city and she was glad for that...but, she had to wonder, how far had this stretched out? were other cities and states effected? was her boy okay?...for now all she had was her hopes and prayers, but that wouldn't be enough to save the ones she loved in the end. The only reasons she fought was for those she loved, her team, her family...without them, she'd have given up a long time ago.

Jayden had spent the past three days gathering supplies and setting up a base in which she felt provided security. Naturally, she was a leader but during times like these she found it difficult to stick with a team, it wasn't because she couldn't handle taking charge but more because she couldn't stand back and watch each fall down one by one. It'd be unrealistic for her to believe that each and all those she managed to meet would be safe from the dreaded fate others had met. No one was safe, not even Jayde.
For now she kept up her own private assignment, gathering supplies and seeking out information that could provide her with some answers. She had her theories of how all of this went down but unfortunately any information at Diamond Corp had been removed. She now had to start at the bottom.
Jayde was aware of a gun store, half a block away from her current location. With her bag slugged over her shoulder and her SG 550 Rifle snug tightly in her grasp the women moved en route. At this time, no walkers were in sight but that wasn't always a good thing. Those things, they often worked in packs, more dangerous then your one or two lurkers but even so all were as lethal as the next.
She kept her guard up, her eyes focused waiting to spot any movement from the infected or possibly a survivor. She'd walked a lonely road for a good several miles now and so far the only thing laying in wait were the mass of rotten corpses. Gripping her gun, she headed toward the adjacent warehouse to see what she could find inside.

As she turned the next corner, she clocked movement up ahead. A female. Alison would have called out, but doing so could have drawn unwanted attention and it wasn't worth the risk. The woman was nearing toward the warehouse, she was armed to the teeth as it seemed and that gave her a little bit of reassurance when it came to the females capabilities. Alison followed quietly behind, gun in hand to be precarious.
The brunette headed inside the warehouse, Alison picking up her feet to move quicker. Going by her previous experience with other survivors, she learned to keep her witt's about her. For example, having left the airport they were faced with an armed gang who were intent on wiping out her and the team and for that reason anyone, infected or otherwise was a danger.
Alison waited for the door to close, before lingering for a moment or two outside. She bought her hand to the door, her gun pointed at the read and yanked the door open. She stood in the doorway, greeted by darkness, her flash light illuminating the surrounding area as she tried her best to see inside.
"Hello?" She called quietly, waiting for a response but heard nothing. Alison stayed in her spot, calling once more before taking a step inside the building. Where was she?
From what she could see this place had been ransacked some time ago, finding supplies here may have been harder then expected but with this much darkness it was hard for her to really know. She had half a mind to take a step back and leave the woman be but she and her team were accountable ofr any survivors, heck, it had been the reason they'd come here in the first place. Their mission had been to find survivors, only unfortunately for them one of the survivors found had been injured and thus they were denied a way out of here. It was absurd, that they'd come here in favour of the people and had now been left to rot with everyone else who had been unfortunate to survive this so far.
