“What did it do? You mean besides being the meth capital of the world? I walked into a gas staion casino. Yeah, that’s right a GAS STATION connected to a CASINO. Went to piss and loe and behold there is a BIOHAZARD BOX in the BATHROOM. How nice for when the inbreed down syndrome needs to shoot up he has somewhere to put the needle. The only reason I’d want to step foot into that state is so I can go to town on some hick zombies.” Jayde simply stared at the man, her eyes became somewhat glazed over getting lost in the midst of his tirade of words, more words to follow and Jayde shook her head as if snapping back to reality "...That is a very...interesting story..and strangely I'm actually not sure what the moral is. Is it bathrooms? because you know I've heard horror stories about public bathrooms. Even so...yeah...you're very entertaining" she said with a small smile. What was the story?...she didn't get it entirely, though maybe that's because her attention was not on what he was saying.
“Yeah, there’s little hostility for them.” He said, prompting a smirk from Jayde. you don't say? Jayde looked at him, to be honest she got it...these zombie fuckers had caused a big hoo-ha and well, everything fell to shit. She nodded at him "Yep...gathered that, can't say I blame you to be perfectly honest." Jayde then spoke about Diamond Corp and how she was keen on taking them down for there massive mistakes. What they had done here was a massive error, but what could they do now? it was done and they were gone, she was going to take them down from the inside.
“You’re absolutely right Jayde. It appears we have a common goal and if you’re okay I’d like to help see this through.” Lance said, taking a more serious tone. Jayde grinned at him "Of course you will, you're here not aren't you? gotta make use of you somehow" she quipped playfully, turning to place the first aid box away before arising to her feet.
“The labs you say? Hm, what’s the problem? We have to fight past an army of chimpanzees…well by now Zombie Chimps? Or flip over lasers and fight off robots? What’s the happs?” he asked. She laughed shaking her had at him as she turned and walked around the desk "...Zombie Chimps? You've watched too many stupid movies. No, the problem is I need a key card... I don't have one. But I'm certain one of the many dead staff around here have one we can use. I hope you don't mind getting your hands dirty, sugar...because things are gonna get messy." Jayde told him, as she gathered her things.

Lance Davis - Party time - Diamond Corp
Rant end. Lance really needed to be more aware when he was talking, that was always hard to do when their was really no filter on the things that came out of his mouth. But it was good to know that his companion had survived his first bout of….charm? Yeah, that was a good word for it. Lance had quite a few quirks some that it seemed he found that only his wife would have ever put up with it. The detective wasn’t surprised that the woman had some trouble keeping up with him. Sometimes he even got lost himself in his own mind, let alone when he went on a rant and turned off his head to just talk.
"If you take nothing away from this then just know that Oklahoma is a shithole. My mine moral is the only time one should see a biohazard box is in a hospital not in a casino/gas station bathroom. Just sayin‘.." Lance said fading away towards the end.
"Why thank you." Lance replied to the entertaining comment as he did so he took a bow.
Damn Jayde was hot. What the hell was a guy to do…even if the world ends, that wasn’t put in the wedding vows. Death did not due them part…she was out their Lance would know if his wife was dead. He’d have that feeling and he just didn’t feel it. But the longer he stayed away from going back home, the longer he thought about it….the more he began to believe otherwise. It wasn’t because there was a beautiful woman in front of him. No, he was just a huge flirt.
"You can make use of me anyway you please. I‘m all your‘s." Lance ended extending his unhurt arm as if about to take in a hug.
So an exploration of the compound was needed. Perhaps kicking down a few doors was in order? Be a nice way to take out some rage on the situation of the world. That and he was in the place that finished his career with the Federal Government. Cool, Lance could kill two birds with one stone…let’s get this party started.
"Hey you never know those movies may payout big now that there are flesh eating people everywhere. A keycard? …hm, welp I guess point me to the people I gotta grope to get this show on the road."

"If you take nothing away from this then just know that Oklahoma is a shithole. My mine moral is the only time one should see a biohazard box is in a hospital not in a casino/gas station bathroom. Just sayin‘.." Lance said. Jayde had to chuckle at the man, she was going to nickname him doom n’ gloom if he wasn’t careful. To be honest, she handled this situation well; better than others may have in her situation. She took this in her stride, rather treating it as a challenge than something that could possibly lead to her demise. The brunette smirked “...Do you actually have anything nice to say about...well...anything? What are your hobbies?...I mean, were...considering, I don’t think you’re going to be heading down to the green anytime soon to play a spot of golf.” Jayde joked with a shrug; it was also a good point. Normal life had gone; hobbies and likes disappeared when hell came to NY and fucked everyone over, turning them into flesh eating zombies.
Jayde could tell one thing about the guy sitting before her; he was a bit of a flirt. She couldn’t help but smirk at him; after all, she couldn’t blame a guy. If this was the end of the world, what would you prefer to do? Sit and cry about it? Or...get your leg over? She was certain she knew what her answer would be and it was neither of them. Nope, Jayde would find herself a big gun, a gun that did a shit tonne of damage and she’d go out with a bang. If she was going to die, these fuckers would go down with her. "You can make use of me anyway you please. I‘m all your‘s." Lance said, extending his uninjured arm as if wanting a hug. She chuckled, ruffling his hair almost tauntingly, winking as she did. Jayde gently placed her hand on the side of his face and spoke “I’ll keep that in mind.” With a grin she playfully patted his cheek and walked around him.
Lance was a flirt, but she wasn’t that easy to get around. If the man wanted her attention he’d have to get it. Jayde wasn’t one of these girls who bat her eyelids, grew coy over compliments and flirting and thus dropped her knickers for any Tom, Dick and Harry. Nope, she was a classy woman, with a whole lot of confidence and respect for herself. However, with that being said, things had gone to shit and if the time called for it, she would happily make use of Lance in any way she pleased. But, right now, she wanted him to move his behind and help her out on her mission.
"Hey you never know those movies may payout big now that there are flesh eating people everywhere. A keycard? …hm, welp I guess point me to the people I gotta grope to get this show on the road.” Jayde laughed, shooting a smile over at Lance. She looked over her shoulder having pat the first guy down “...What you’re really hoping for, is that I point you in my direction, ask you to pat me down. Hm?...” she joked, cocking her head toward the elevator “You could try over inside there, someone’s gotta have dropped one somewhere.”

Lance Davis - Feelin' up dead people - Diamond Corp
There was no black and white with Lance. Either he was all sunshine, daisies, and puppies. Or he was rainy, gloom, and thorns. There was little grey to enter in his life or personality, very much all or nothing instead. Of course with the state of the world currently made it difficult to bring the positive. Though coy, sarcastic, and always a flirt around a pretty woman. He had remained some what negative, even more so when talking about something he truly disliked or hated. Lance was never one to sugar coat things, or to hid how he felt to things. So instead he was just completely blunt, open, and honest. Sometimes this was a bad thing. But hey what can you do? It’s the end of the world as we know it.
Hobbies? Hm. That was a tough one towards the end of it he really didn’t do much other then work and try to go after Diamond Corp but with a corporate office that rich they made their tracks hard to find. Still he found some ways of entertaining himself now and then. You know when the family was away or he wanted the alone time.
“I was an avid bowler. Did it all the time as a child, my mother demanded that I bowl it was a huge deal to her. Been bowing ever since.”
Lance didn’t often share his past with others, only his wife knew just about everything about him. But there was just something about Jayde…or the fact that she was the first person he’d seen who didn’t want to eat him in a while and was just getting soft. Nah, something about Jayde.
The man was doing his best at controlling his flirt but that wasn’t exactly easy with a drop dead gorgeous woman like Jayde in the room. Well, that and going back to the fact that she was the first person he’d seen not trying to make him dinner. He really couldn’t stretch that enough, after all was said and done he would have really liked to get to know this woman. She wasn’t like that anyone else he’d met…with the exception of his wife. They both had that strong willed nature, perhaps that why he couldn’t stop flirting with her. Nothing was a bigger turn on then a woman who made everything a challenge made it even more needed to over come it…or her as the case maybe. He was merely extending his arms as a reference not intentionally asking for a hug so he was surprised when she started walking towards him. Of course the pat on the cheek was more her style. Lance closed his eye nearest to the hand doing the patting. Oh women…
Lance raised an eyebrow at her next comment. That wasn’t what he was actually intending, but hey if she was asking he’d be more then happy to make sure she wasn’t carrying any weapons…he’d check her real good.
“Well, if you’re hiding one of those key things on your person you may leave me no choice.” He said jokingly raising his hands and flexing his fingers. “But alas, you are not so I must go feel up dead people…try not to look at my well toned buttocks as I walk by.” He added with another stupid grin on his face.
He made his way towards the elevator it wasn’t a pleasant sight. Corpse lying mangled, contorted, some missing pieces, not to mention the smell that accompanied this lovely adventure. He found what looked to be a doctor…well, what was left of one. Good no homo. He reached through the pockets of the lab coat and was doing well to only use one hand if at all possible. He felt something plastic towards the front pocket above the chest…well again, what was left.
“Bingo.”
He motioned with his head and free hand for Jayde to come towards him and get the card. Staying down low in case this wasn’t what he needed. He intended to only do this, ONCE.

Despite being thrown into this suck fest of a situation, she managed to keep her spirits up. Jayde was one to keep a level head and open mind in all cases, even in a zombie apocalypse. She was still alive, that was all that counted right now. Lance had arrived and to be honest she was grateful for the company, being alone sure did take its toll and she’d found herself having conversations with herself. She was bordering on the crazy at the time; thankfully he’d prevented it going any further.
He was injured and after establishing that the injury was a mere accident rather than an attack wound, she helped him by cleaning it up and bandaging it to reduce further infection. The two sat down for a few moments where they had a little small talk, it was nice to just have someone to talk to other then herself right now. She looked at Lance and asked a little about him. “I was an avid bowler. Did it all the time as a child, my mother demanded that I bowl it was a huge deal to her. Been bowing ever since.” He said. She raised a brow, bowling?..seriously?...well..that was...kind of...dull. Jayde smiled slightly nodding her head gently as if trying to seem interested but she ended up laughing at herself knowing how crappy that act had been “..I’ve never bowled, so I guess I don’t know the kind of rush one gets from it.” She mocked almost, another grin spreading on her lips.
Lance from what she could see was a little bit of a flirt and to be honest, she couldn’t fault him. If the world was going to fall to shit how would you prefer to die? Huddled in a corner crying? Or hooking up with someone? She knew what she’d have preferred...however, there was a 3rd option...fight. She would fight until she got out of this shit hole and whilst Lance was there he’d be fighting too. He extended his arms, to which she smirked. She neared toward him as if finding his arms inviting, but then side stepped him and tapped the side of his face playfully. Yeah, that was more of the type of person Jayde was. She wasn’t too serious about herself or funnily enough this situation.
“Well, if you’re hiding one of those key things on your person you may leave me no choice.” he joked flexing his fingers. Jayde smirked, raising a brow at him as if almost daring him to try it. If he did happen to do so he’d get a little surprise and find himself face down on the floor. “But alas, you are not so I must go feel up dead people…try not to look at my well toned buttocks as I walk by.” his words prompted a soft chuckle, she shook her head at him and would you believe actually took a look at his butt as he walked away. She cocked her head, giving a slight nod of approval before turning around herself and going about her business as she searched for a darn key card.
Jayde used her foot to roll some of the bodies over and then began to carefully search their clothing for a card. She heard Lance’s voice and a possible success; she glanced over him seeing he had obtained a key card. Jayde smiled and stood up, taking her full height now as she began to approach him “Now who said men weren’t good for anything?” she joked, swiping the card out of his hand and observing it with a grin. She cocked her head behind her gesturing toward the corridor “Let’s go sweet cheeks..” she urged, a smirk before turning and walking toward the corridor herself.

Lance Davis - Found it - Diamond Corp
It was quite fortunate the way things turned out for him even in this hell hole. He was able to find some stable place, a helpful friend with some medical experience, and she was HOT. H-A-W-T. Yes, he was married and yes, he KNEW his wife and daughter were still out there. It was hard to stay focused with a woman like Jayde there. Though he knew WHEN, not if, he found his family his wife would give him the beating of his life time which was well deserved but to be honest? He missed it. The sound of her voice when she scolded him for doing something he knew he wasn’t suppose too. Going on and on about how he had a family and needed to grow up. It was kinda stupid the things he missed and he thought about huddled behind a dumpster sleeping away from anyone that could eat him. Well, at least until he made his way to Diamond Corp.
Jayde’s comment made him laugh
“Hey, don’t knock it until you try it.” He returned in an equally mocking tone referring to bowling.
Lance felt eyes on him as he walked by a grin was on his face. So she did check him out. Good to know all his flirting wasn’t for nothing. Not that it would stop him either way. The smell was disgusting all these dead people and body parts everywhere. Good thing he found what he needed quickly staying down here did not seem like a good idea for him, nor was it doing any favors for his stomach. He watched Jadye in full figure walk across the room and take the card from his hand. He shook his head at her comment.
“Yeah, we are pretty handy to have around. And not just because the parts fit together although that is always a bonus.” Lance immediately hopped up and headed for the direction of a bathroom that was in another room close by. He needed a sink and soap.
He stopped in his tracks at her next comment thought and looked back with a stupid grin on his face.
“So you I prove too tempting for you and you peaked.”
Lance headed for the bathroom and began to wash up what he could being careful of his shoulder as it was still injured. He turned off the faucet and reached for some paper towels. Once washed up he reentered the room and looked towards the femme fatale.
“So, what next lady?”

“Hey, don’t knock it until you try it.” Lance replied mockingly, she simply offered a grin toward the man. He was full of swagger, fairly confident and to be honest she liked that. The last thing she needed was some moron hiding under a desk crying like a girl. She was glad for the humour.
As the male walked away she had a peak, of course she did because right now whatever was offered was up for the taking. The world, or rather New York had gone to shit in recent days and Jayde wasn't ready to just give up on it all. She still had a lot of fight in her and so long as there was breath in her, she would fight her way to the top/
“Yeah, we are pretty handy to have around. And not just because the parts fit together although that is always a bonus.” She raised a brow at him "Clever, and kudos to using a very tactful way of mentioning the one thing that is so clearly going through that brain of yours. I on the other hand just want the chance to blow some things head off..unfortunately for you, by head, I mean the one that you're not really thinking straightly with." Jayde crooned playfully as she too took her stance and began searching the reception area.
“So you I prove too tempting for you and you peaked.” Jayde smirked at him "Hey, it's either you or copy boy Dan here.." Jayde chimed, nudging Dan with her foot "..and I'm not into necrophilia." She smirked watching him head into the bathroom. Jayde took another look around, turning over some of the bodies with the toe of her boot rather then using her hands. She had to be careful here.
Nothing else was of use here and with that she took the card found by Lance and headed into the corridor. “So, what next lady?” Lance asked. She smiled, continuing to lead the way, gesturing for him to follow "If we're going out there, we're going to need some supplies...I know where the good stuff is. You might want to brace yourself, something tells me that beyond this point..things are going to get real messy." She told him, they were going to head toward the lower levels of the facility...where all the secrets were kept.
