Elisa Richmond
How had life managed to sink to this kind of level? Never mind the fact that Elisa was trying to gather a group of weak-willed patrons and staff together, but how had life managed to get this far without anybody even noticing. It seemed absurd the more that Elisa thought about it really, how the only one willing to stand up was a little Southern Belle. As much as she would have liked to have pitied everyone right now, there was a bigger problem on her hands. How was she gonna keep these people alive if they couldn’t even help themselves?
So far, she had done what any pro would have done, flipping over the table on their sides and trying to get everyone behind the barricade whilst they still had time, but then all that had done was holed them all off into a corner. ”Connur” she spoke with her flawed accent, looking towards one of the chefs who seemed to be the only one stable enough to do anything. He was a big fella indeed and it was something that she could use to her advantage if she needed it. ”Ahh need ya ta block t’e back door n’ get me some vodka from dah bar… ‘kay?” she asked him in the sweetest tone that she could hope to pull off right now.
Without an ounce of hesitation, Conner disappeared behind the mass of chairs which had been blocking their rear so that they weren’t gonna be ambushed from one side. She nodded her head to herself, sighing a little too loudly. ”Are we gonna die?” one man eventually asked. Instead of trying to reassure him, she instead remained silent, pretending to have not heard him.
The bastards were looming closer and she knew it. The only thing left to do was something risky that could have ended all of their lives. What she was hoping for was that everyone was willing to listen to her and go along with her plan.
She peeked over the barricade for a second, seeing that they were still walking around out there, navigating their way through the maze of overturned tables and chairs. It had slowed them down for the time being which was something she had been planning on, plus it also made a great surface area for what she was planning.
Eventually Conner arrived back, having done what she had asked, though looking partly confused at the bottle of vodka he had been asked too bring. A curious smile lit on her face as she began to explain. ”W’en ah give dah say so we hav’tah run” She said, ripping off part of her uniform and unscrewing the top before placing the rag inside the bottle of alcohol. Retrieving a lighter from her back pocket, she lit the rag and rolled the bottle onto the other side of the room.
It didn’t take long for the room to be filled with smoke and flames, which is what she had been planning for.
”D’eres a fire escape on dah second floor in deh managers office… Move out” she said quickly before the group scampered for the one remaining exit that hadn’t been blocked off
