Personality-
Samuel Walker is a very confident man. Some may say that his confidence, is borderline arrogance but Sam would argue otherwise. He can, however come across as arrogant which is something he's been battling with for the most part of his life. Samuel has always had a very big chip upon his shoulder, sadly, a trait that he had absorbed from his father at a very young age.
Despite being fairly arrogant and pigheaded at times, Samuel isn't a bad man. Once you get to know him, he's a dear and kind man who'd go out of his way to do anything for anyone. Sometimes, there is a price to pay as nothing in life is for free but, for the most part he'd do it without any repayment. Of course, then there is the matter of how big the favour is? and what he could actually get out of it. No one happily hands out freebies, there is always a cost.
When it comes to others and being around people, Sam is without a doubt a social bunny. He loves having an audience and often plays up to them. He's competitive and boastful, which often gets the man more points because people like to hear a good story and warm to a challenge from time to time. To his friends, he's a cool guy, the kind who you can go to with your problems and he'll work his butt off to find a solution. To his peers, he is the same but can often come across as quite hard headed.
Samuel is a stubborn as a mule. He likes to get his own way and if he doesn't, the gloves do come off quite regularly. He is not afraid to play hard ball and get physical with others to reach his goals. Sam can be crafty at times, again in a bid to get what he wants because god forbid he doesn't win, his life would be over. Sam is a hard nut to crack, often disabling others to see what he's really about. The man hides behind his confident façade, often by being quite loud which intimidates others. He hides behind his confidence and his sense of humour, to avoid developing any real feelings or bonds with others.
However, when he goes home...all that switches off. To his family, Sam is nothing bug perfect. He plays the role of the doting father, the loyal and loving husband when in actual fact...that's a lie too. It's scary how much Sam lies to himself and those around him, often wondering how on earth he managed to get buried underneath all the lies and just how long it'd be before he was found out.
Sam isn't loyal, least of all to his wife and family but he loves them no less. Despite some major flaws, Sam is a good dad, he looks after his children and he gives them his everything. Unfortunately he never wanted to hurt anyone, but his web of lies and deceit will ultimately do so in the end. It's just a matter of time before everything spills out and he's seen the lying, cheating scum-bag that he is.

History-
Samuel James Walker was born in Exton, Pennsylvania on August 14th, 1975 to Charles Walker and Angela Walker nee Rollins.
Growing up was fairly easy on Samuel despite being the eldest of five children, Sam’s life was simple. Often the oldest child held the most responsibility but since Sam had always been the favourite (when it came to his father) he was given a lot more leeway then his other siblings. Being the first born son meant that Sam and his father had a tight bond. He’d spend most of his days at his father’s side, aspiring to be just like him.
His father, Charles was a brain surgeon and his mother, Angela a special needs teacher. Sam always wanted to work in the medical profession, but found that he favoured the science end of things. He was a grade a student, always dedicated to his studies. So it was of no surprise that he went on to achieve a bachelor’s degree in science before starting a two year work experience at Diamond Corp. After his two years were up, Sam was offered a permanent job as a Clinical Research assistant.
Whilst working at Diamond Corp he gained excellent organizational and communication skills, enabling him to pretty much work anyone like putty in his hands. He had the gift of the gab for sure. As a research assistant he was in charge of recruiting investigators for clinical studies as well as preparing protocols, drafting procedures, reports and presenting them at meetings and conferences. It was as if anything this man touched turned to gold and soon, he became at the top of his game.
It helped greatly that at this time Samuel had made good friends with those ranked higher in the chain of command at Diamond Corp. He’d spend his weekends off playing golf with the chair person for the company along with also befriending, Patrick Anderson the company’s product manager.
He worked for Diamond Corp for several years before meeting the woman of his dreams; Carmen Di Nozzo. Carmen was an intern at the Queens Hospital in which Sam was admitted too after an accident during a friendly soccer game played amongst friends. Sam had been taken down during the game and suffered a head injury after being sent down against the goal post. After seeing her for the first time he was absolutely smitten, they hit it off right away and before he knew it they started dating.
Sadly, Carmen did not meet his father’s standards and she was deemed unsuitable for his son. The problem was that Charles was not fond of Carmen because of her Hispanic heritage. Sam was livid to say the least, but this would not get in the way of his love and with that he practically disowned his father vowing that if he could not accept his love for Carmen then he could consider him no longer his son. Shortly after, Carmen fell pregnant with their first child a son and three years later they got married. When Cole was 5 years old, Carmen gave birth to a baby girl; Cecillia.
Sam’s life was made, he had a great job and a great family but with every up came a down and sadly it revolved around married life. Sam worked a lot, a lot more then Carmen liked and this meant that problems ensued with their marriage life. Sam was travelling all over the world and only doing so to provide for his family but the only thing they wanted was him around. He felt as if he’d failed them and Carmen, but if he gave up his job now...they’d have nothing. He took a little more time off but it was hard adjusting...Sam was a workaholic.
With strain on his marriage it came as no surprise that Sam began to sway a little, he spent a lot of time at work and around his colleagues...primarily Natalie Anderson. Natalie was younger than him, a pretty blonde thing who worked in the sales end of the business along with being the product manager; Patrick Andersons daughter. And so, an illicit affair began between the two of them, behind Carmen’s back. Sam had never seen himself as the kind of person to be unfaithful but he was absolutely miserable in his marriage, he felt that all he did was give and it was never enough for his family. Natalie made him feel good about himself; there was no drama with her everything was just simple and he liked that.
Funnily enough, even though he loved Carmen with all his heart...he didn’t feel guilty about his affair. He felt nothing in actual fact, which scared him because it bought up a whole lot of doubt. Surely, he couldn’t love his wife that much if he was able to sleep with another woman and not just that one time but over and over again for five long years and he had no desire to stop. He was playing a dangerous game, sleeping with Anderson’s daughter like that but the danger in it also thrilled the man. It was exciting and that was something his life lacked.
He was able to keep up the pretence at work and continued working alongside Natalie as if nothing had happened or was happening. But, Sam came unstuck because someone knew about them and began to black mail him. He wasn’t sure who it was, and he couldn’t seek help because by doing so he’d have to inform others of his ongoing affair. So he attempted to get to the bottom of it himself. His black mailer asked for money, which Sam did not have but knew how to get. He used the money in Andersons safe to potentially pay off his blackmailer. Sam had no intention of doing so and merely took the cash as a way to get the evidence from the culprit and thus clear his name and leave before exchanging any cash.
Sadly, Sam came unstuck and was attacked. He was beaten to the ground, taken unaware and left in such a bad way. After receiving multiple injuries to the head he was rushed to hospital and unfortunately left comatose. The doctors weren’t sure when or if Sam would ever wake up. He spent several weeks in the hospital and finally awoke...but things weren’t the same. Sam couldn’t remember a damn thing and it seemed the outside world wasn’t how he’d left it........

Sample RP-
A loud gasp escaped the man's mouth, inhaling all of a sudden as he tried to catch his breath. Wide, startled blue eyes blinked, vision blurred as the man came too. He'd been laying in this bed for seven weeks. Seven long weeks, whilst the world continued on without him. The man lay perfectly still, blinking simultaneously as he tried to rid himself of blurred vision. He was laying down, peering up at the white tiled ceiling above him. He couldn't hear anything, just a dull beeping sound in the background with his surroundings but nothing more.
His throat felt dry, his body ached as he continued to lay there trying to come to grips with what had happened. The man blinked a few times, releasing tears from his eyes that gently rolled against his cheeks. He was awake now, seven weeks of being in a coma and he was finally awake. Of course, the man had no idea where he was or how on earth he'd gotten here. In fact, he wasn't really sure of anything right now.
Several moments passed before the blurred vision subsided. Sam's breathing steadied as he finally caught his breath. Letting his head roll to the left of him, his blue gaze narrowed on the side table next to his bed. The side table was covered in get well cards. Sam inhaled sharply, turning his head to the right to see himself hooked up to a ventilator. The man furrowed his brows, scanning the motor with his eyes to view his vitals...he was doing find. Once more drawing his eyes to the ceiling the man breathed deeply.
Sam let his hands curl the shits around him, gripping them tightly for a moment as he began to get the feeling back in his arms. His legs were numb right now, with no surprise since they hadn't been used for seven weeks and everything had begun to stiffen up. His mobility would be hindered for a little while, how long? no one could say, least of all Sam who still had no idea how long he'd been here.
Slowly the man began to sit up, he groaned in agony as he felt his body awaken. There was a dull aching that throbbed down the man's spine, sending a shooting pain in each leg. He grit his teeth to bare the pain as he finally managed to sit up. His back flopped against the raised pillows and headboard of his hospital bed. He'd sat up, that was already some progress. Once more, his legs still felt numb and the man was unable to move his toes. He ran his hands down the sheets and ripped them back seeing his legs just laying there in front of him...but he couldn't feel a damn thing.
This was weird, difficult and because of that the man began to get impatient. He prodded at his legs, and still felt nothing. He continued to do so, getting harsher each time before erratically pounding his fists against his legs hoping that he'd feel it. He didn't. Sam became distraught, the idea of never walking again surely didn't settle well with him. The man buried his hands in his face and wept a little, this was unbelievable. Once dropping his hands from his face, he pulled the cord next to his bed and began shouting for a nurse...he couldn't move, he had no idea what the hell was going on and he wanted answers.
Sams eyes narrowed to his door, no nurse came. He figured they were probably busy, so he gave it another shot, calling out once more only to be ignored again. He furrowed his brows, shaking his head some as he did. He'd have to go find his own help, because this wasn't getting him anywhere. The man sat up again, using his hands to try and lift his weight so he could turn sideways and climb off the bed himself. It took three attempts before he finally managed to pivot his body around, now letting his legs hang over the bed and his body face the window where the blinds were still down.
A little light beamed through the gaps in the blinds in front of him. His eyes scanned the side table again, no longer focusing on the cards but the framed photo that sat amongst them. Sam leant forward and picked it up. He held the photo in front of himself, letting his eyes fixate on the image, his hand gently grazing the glass as a sad smile enveloped his mouth. His family, his son, his daughter, his wife and he.
Sam closed his eyes tightly, he'd missed them a whole lot. He wished they were here right now, to see him awake like this...but they weren't. He was grateful to be awake because of them. Sam stared at the picture for a few moments, before realising that he couldn't remember anything about his family. He recognised there faces but...he wasn't sure who they were. This hit him like a tonne of bricks, he dropped the photo on the floor, the glass smashing as it hit the ground.
Now that he thought about it...he couldn't remember much at all. What day was it? What month?..What year? How did he get here? How long had he been here?....What was his name? The shock set the man into a frenzy. He no longer cared that he couldn't move his toes, that didn't stop him leaping up off the bed only to find himself face down on the ground when his legs turned to jelly. He hit the ground with a heavy thud. Upon landing he didn't bother trying to move, instead he just lay there, letting a loud wail escape his lips. He couldn't remember any specific details about himself or his life. He recognised faces, slight meanings to the relationship he held with those he recognised but nothing more....
