Personality-
Miranda is a lovable girl, she cares about others, especially when they care about her. She loves her friends and always likes being with them. Although she loves to be around her friends, she can be found home a lot of the time, because she likes her quiet, and her time to think. She’s a very curious girl, and although she’s not the nosiest girl in the world, she still loves to know what’s going on with everyone else because she feels knowledge is power. She’s a secret keeper, everyone goes to Miranda when they need help, advise, or just to talk, mainly because she’s a great listener and very loyal. Sometimes she gets lost in her own little world, also called her mind. When she feels her mind is clouded, that’s usually when you’ll see her writing, that’s just how she expresses herself most of the time. She is also tough as nails, and can kick the most fearsome of asses.
Although Miranda Levesque is extremely pretty and attractive to most guys around, she’s not very conceded at all, she never really thinks of herself as a very attractive person, in fact, she denies it some of the time. When she looks at herself she just sees an average girl, she thinks she’s normal looking, not all that pretty, but not all that ugly either. Miranda is also very open minded, she is always open to try new things, go new places, but usually she’s a rule follower, she has a pretty overwhelming conscious that sounds a lot like her mother, telling what to do, and not what to do. But as the time goes on, it’s starting to sound more and more like herself. Being such an over thinker, Miranda always thinks twice before doing or saying something, especially if it sounds dangerous in action or hurtful to somebody else.
Miranda is also very bright. She is naturally smart, usually she is the type who doesn’t even need to study for a text because she’ll remember anything she knows that she needs to remember. Because she is smart, she’s always the type to put in her two sense. She’s also very good at debating. When it comes to a strong topic that she has a strong opinion about, then she can rant about it until she proves whatever idea she has. She doesn’t give up easily. Miranda is the type to keep trying and pushing herself no matter what the cost. She doesn’t give into bribery or anything like that because she has a lot of pride. She likes to be right, which is probably why Miranda Levesque is so opinionated. If she hears a statement that is wrong or somebody that doesn’t know what they are talking about, then she corrects them. Also, she is very blunt with people, even if they are a stranger.
When she’s happy or excited, she doesn’t freak out and scream and jump around like other preppy girls. When she is happy or excited, Miranda keeps its to herself and smiles a certain smile that she only gets when she’s really happy about something. She doesn't like bragging about things, but she will talk about it, if she’s asked. When Miranda is angry about something, she hides her problems She’s not the type to keep to herself about things that involves her friends, but when it comes to herself, she can be distant. Also, when she is upset, she tries her best to distance herself from everyone and keep it in, she’s very complicated and different depending on her emotions from keeping in her happiness to ranting about her anger.

History-
Miranda and her twin sister were born in Boston, but a lot more happened in their family before that. Miranda’s mother was born during the time of the Vietnam War. She didn’t like her home country and when she got old enough she got out of there as soon as she could and made her way over to America to live. She was the baby of the family and nobody thought she was going to be able to do it. She went to Boston to attend Boston University, because she was quite smart. When she was in college, soon after she met her future husband and father of her children, Robert Levesque. They had an instant connection, but Angelique was afraid to get serious because she didn’t think her parents would approve of the man she was dating, but she continued to see them anyways, knowing it might be awhile until they could a chance. One they did meet him, they loved him, and they got married. A few years later they had twin girls; Miranda and Tiffany.
Having a twin sister had its perks and it’s down sides. Both the girls pretty much shared everything and a always saw each other. When they were toddlers they were always playing together, but as they got older that changed slowly. The twins eventually got sick of having to share everything and they start to grow increasingly picky about it. They would make a big deal if one got more ice cream than another, or one got a present that was bigger than the other. It was just ridiculous things like that they fought over because they were twins who had to grow up sharing everything and just wanted stuff for their own. When the girls were four years old, along came their little brother Shiloh. Now they had one more member of the family to preoccupy their time with. Of course, a baby brother was just something else to fight over. Their childhood was a hectic one.
Before she knew it, Miranda was off to school where she made quite the name for herself. She was the sweet, kindhearted, helpful, not to mention intelligent girl of the class. She might have been small, but she always seemed to be one step ahead of her class academically. She didn’t notice just how smart she was, but her teacher certainly did. Her sister was normal in the way she didn’t care as much about learning and just wanted to have some fun. Miranda wasn’t much like that at all. It was school, and she was excited to be there and made the best out of it. She also had very nice handwriting and caught it quickly. She was even the first one of her class to learn to tie her own shoes. Yes, Miranda was the independent one. Nobody ever had to tell her to do something, because she always did what she had to do before her teachers could even ask. She went far, especially for elementary school.
When Miranda was nine years old, something horrible happened to her and her family. It was a complete accident that nobody saw coming. Her mother was drinking at her computer and Tiffany was running around the house, playing tag with Shiloh, she he tripped and ran right into her. She spilled the coffee all over herself, the floor, and the computer.. Making a complete mess of the place. She went to go clean it up when suddenly the computer screen exploded and all the wet coffee helped spread a fire around them all. It didn’t take long for Angelique to realize what was going on and she got Tiffany and Shiloh out of the house, but Miranda was stuck upstairs. When she tried to come down it was already spreading and blocking off the stairs. She waited and watched spread and the fire department tried to help her. Once everything started to break down around her, that is when things got messy.
She could barely breath, the fire was getting closer and the ceiling started to cave in until she tried to run for her room and a columns came down and hit her in the arm, which also burned her as she tried to get off. Finally, the firefighters got in through her bedroom window and they carried her out to safety. She was never the same after that, she had to stay in the hospital for a few days for observation and then before she knew it, her family was moving to New York. Until they could find a place of their own again, they had to live with Miranda’s uncle Pete. Everything changed for Miranda and her family after that. Lucky enough Miranda’s uncle got her father a good job along with him and her mother got a nursing job at the local hospital as a night nurse. Changing schools was not easy for Miranda, but at least she had her sister by her side. New York was much different than Boston. But, at least she made some new friends.
Miranda made herself one best friend while she was creating herself a new life. She was very smart and had a lot of the same qualities as she did. Her new friend had dreams of becoming a famous scientist and Miranda had dreams of becoming a world known doctor. Together they made quite the team and it didn’t take log for them to click at all. As the years went on, not much of anything exciting happened to her until she was finally off to high school. She stuck with her best friend and joined the mathletes and school counsel. She didn’t see much of Tiffany in school because she was in AP classes. Her twin sister became a cheerleader and one of the popular girls. Miranda was one of the smart girls that helped by tutors, but she wasn’t exactly one of the geeks because of her natural beauty. Tiffany’s friends actually liked her because she was pretty and smart.
Tiffany’s friends tried to set Miranda up with one of the jocks who needed help to stay on the team. So, of course she obliged and did her best to help him pass his midterm. After she succeeded, he asked her out to this party as his date. She was surprised, but she still said yes. Her best friend thought it was a bad idea because of the rumors going around school about him, but she didn’t bother listening to adolescent gossip. She went to the party and had a good time until the jock tried to move to fast. She told him no, but of course did not listen and tried to force himself on her. Luckily for her, Tiffany walked by and saw what was going on and broke a vase over his head to knock him out. They left right after that and Miranda stayed clear away from high school parties that involved any types of jocks.
Before she knew it, she was graduating high school as Valedictorian. It was a close tie to her best friend, but she managed to get one grade letter high on a test that put her in the clear for the title. She wrapped up her high school years and headed off to college where she was learning elderly care. She wanted to be a nurse to old people. She was very close with her grandmother on her father’s side of the family that also lived in Queens, in a retirement home. It was four long years of medical studies for her. It wasn’t as bad as she thought, but after all, she did have a photographic memory. That helped her in most cases. She did good, got her degree and before she knew it she was off in the real world. Tiffany was still living in Queen and had a job as a security at the retirement home where her grandfather was living.
Thanks to her sister’s connections at the work place, Miranda got her job as a nurse at the retirement home. Most people find having to take care of sick and old people a chore, but Miranda didn’t mind it. They all loved her there even after just her first week on the job. She was kind and nice to everyone, she got to see her grandfather on a daily bases, and she got to hear a lot of stories about the war. She worked there for a few months, got to see her sister everyday who she ended up getting a place with no to far from the retirement home. Then one day, everything changed. All the old people started getting sick, and that was when the breakout happened. One of the elderly bit one of the nurses and it all went downhill from there. Miranda and Tiffany had to fight their way out, but they escaped.
The girls had no idea that the breakout was in fact happening all around the world. New York was all boarded up, they had no way out of the city and people were continuously dying and coming back to life as one of the undead. Miranda noticed very early that it was the bites that killed you and brought you back as one of them, which is why it was spreading so fast. They found themselves a group of survivors when they took shelter at Queens Center. Miranda noticed that somebody in the group was bitten, so she told them about how it was going to kill them and bring him back as one of them. He had a son, and he called her a liar. But eventually, that is exactly what happened. He came back to life and attacked one of the woman in the group. Tiffany used her metal pole from the retirement home and killed them both.
Ever since then, the group as slowly become smaller. There is always somebody going off to do something stupid or somebody who was infected and never told anybody. Miranda was the only one with medical experience, so she took care of the group. Now, besides the twins, there are only four other people trying to survive but them. They are all trying to work together as a unit, helping each other survive. When Miranda first joined the group and took cover, there was nine of them. Half of them got killed and she was not going to lose any more people. After hearing an announcement from the President, they were starting to think hope was lost. But Miranda wasn’t giving up, and neither was Tiffany. Tiffany was willing to do whatever she had to keep her and her sister safe, and that was starting to make Miranda a little nervous.
Anything else?- She has no idea that her brother Shiloh is alive.

Miranda strolled into work like it was any other day, her sister was already there because she has to be there to unlock everything and get things going. Some of the elderly woke up early but others would sleep in. They had a very diverse group of old people slowly making their way around the home. Miranda walked in, wearing her blue scrubs, and went to the front desk where her sister was typing on he computer. “I hope you’re not internet dating during work again.” She teased as she checked into her shift. Tiffany giggled a she looked up and her and shook her head silently for a moment. “Girl, you’re lucky you are my twin, or you would be seeing birds flying around your head by now.” Miranda gasped dramatically as she then proceeded on to start her shift. She stopped by all the rooms to see who was up and who might need help getting up.
She went entered a code to open a set of doors that were used for the old patients that needed to be monitored more than others because perhaps they were a danger to themselves or others. Mainly this is where all the Alzheimer’s patients were kept or the one’s that were losing it, thinking they were back in the war again, talking crazy. Her grandfather was also in this part of the retirement home and she would always go visit him while she did her rounds in the morning.
The door was wide open, and she walked over to the doorway and saw him sitting there, looking out of the window, deep in thought. His roommate was already off to get breakfast, she recalled passing him on her way by. It was good that the nurses escorted the special care elderly to the cafeteria room where they all ate. She leaned against the doorframe for a moment, watching him, seeing if she would notice her or remember her name. She finally walked and cleared her throat. “Everything going okay, gramps?” She said, and at first he didn’t say anything and continued to stare mindlessly. She walked over next to him and bent down. It was like he didn’t even notice she was there. “Gramps? It’s me, Miranda…” She said, touching him on the shoulder.
He finally looked over at her and smiled. She smiled back. “Are you feeling okay today?” She asked him, that sweet tone in her voice radiating through him. He nodded his head. “Yes, deary. I’m doing just fine. Just admiring the beautiful summer day.” He said as she looked back out the window. She looked over as well and smirked. “Gramps, it’s fall. Summer doesn’t start for a few months.” She said and he smiled again, shaking his head. She could tell that he knew he was wrong after he said it.
“Do you want me to help you to the cafeteria? I hear they’re serving your favorite.” She said, letting her vowels longer and he looked over at her with a grimace. She loved the look on his face when he was excited, it was the most adorable thing as far as old people expressions go. “Waffles?” He asked, and she grinned back at him, that happen to be one of her favorite meals. Waffles. She shook her head. “I wish, but no.. you’re close though. Come on, I’ll bring you over there.” She said as she helped him up with his cane in one hand and his other arm locked together with hers. She escorted him out of the room and down the hall until they got to the cafeteria room where all the elderly where sitting down to eat. She patted him on the back and he walked off and took a seat and ate himself some oatmeal.
She went down the hall to see who else might still be in bed or wondering around by herself. She went entered the code on the padlock and went back over through the living quarters and was passing the front desk when Tiffany noticed her and tried to get her attention. “Hey, Randa!” She called out to get her attention. Rand was her nickname back when they were kids.
Miranda glared over at her and walked towards her. She knew how much she hated being called that at work.
She went over to the front desk with a curious expression. “What can I do for you, Iffy Tiffy?” She called her a childhood nickname back and Tiffany just smirked. "Erm, Jackie needs some help. Apparently Miss Cola won’t get out of bed and was coughing up blood. Ron never showed up today and neither did my right hand lady, Erica.” Miranda gave her a strange look and nodded her head. She knew it was unnatural for both Ron and Erica to be out of work. After all, Ron lived alone and Erica was devoted to her job. It was weird for them to both be out, especially since neither one called in or anything. As she headed for the other side of the retirement home where Miss Cola’s room was, she heard a screaming, “Ahhhhh!” Miranda stopped with her eyes wide for a second and then started to run.
When she got to the room she looked in to see that Miss Cola was biting one of the nurse’s arms, blooding was splattering out. Miranda panicked, she ran over and grabbed the nurse, kicking Miss Cola away and she fell to the floor. She helped the nurse, Jackie, to the floor as she leaned against the wall. “Are you okay!? Don’t worry, you’ll be fine.” Miranda said as she looked at the wound on her arm. It was just a bite after all. “Watch out!” Jackie yelled and Miranda looked over her shoulder and Miss Cola was coming for her again. Miranda back up and went over to a bed pan from near by and she hit her right over the head.
She bashed her head a few times until she was sure Miss Cola was not getting back up again. She dropped the pan and helped up Jackie, and they went to see that it was only getting worse. One of the fatter patients, Mister Tucker, looked just like Miss Cola. Both of them looked like they were dead or something. It was like something out of a zombie movie.
“Run!” Miranda yelled as the two girls started to run down the hall. Miranda’s main thought was getting to her sister before something bad happened to her. As they were running, suddenly one of the patients jumped out of their room, and right on top of Jackie. Miranda got knocked down and hit the wall and by the time she got back up to her feet she saw she was being bitten in the neck and then two more infected elderly jumped on her and started eating her, too. Miranda covered her mouth and looked up, a few more than came for her. She gasped and then turned around quickly and ran back to the front desk. “Tiffany, where the hell are you!?” SHe yelled once she saw she was not at the front desk. She looked down at the living quarters to see that there were a few dead infected on the ground, and there was Tiffany, she was pinned the wall with a pole in her hand that was stabbing one of the infected patients.
The pale was resting on the wall, stuck there, and the other part was stuck inside the infected patient, piercing it’s hearts. It was trying to get closer to Tiffany to bite her, but he couldn’t reach. “Miranda, over here!” She yelled, and of course her twin was already on her way. Before she knew it the infected was hit right in the head and went down. And there was Miranda, breathing heavily. “I guess we have to get them in the head.“ She said, looking down to see an axe in the infected’s head. They were never quite sure why there was an axe in case of emergencies, but they didn’t much care at the moment, for it saved their lives.
Tiffany leaped for Miranda and hugged her tightly. She then let go and she yanked the pole out of the infected elderly, and Miranda took out the axe from his head. “Let’s get the fuck out of here!” Tiffany said, and they looked down the hall to see even more were on their way. “Good idea!” Miranda said and they ran right out the living area, past the front desk, and outside. Where were they going next? They had no idea. All they knew was, they were no longer safe,
