History-
The day she was born Leanna and James Grey held her close, she was perfect and they knew her older siblings Alice and Jack would take care of her. She was raised in a loving and nuturing home, one with people surrounding her and smiling at the young and bright individual who was named 'Candace Veira Grey'. She was always quiet and would always hide behind people this has shown her shy attitude from the time growing up.
In highschool, she was quiet and nerdy and achieved great marks. Her marks would lead her parents to believe she could achieve so much, Candace knew she could and she wanted to make them proud but, there was something that needed to be fufilled. She wanted to achieve her life long dream, she wanted to be in the army.
At last, Candace would develop her attitude. She would learn to become less trusting and more confident, her smirk and her loud mouth would come almost as a shock and with this; she would not be shy no more. Finally, as she waited patiently Viera broke out of her shell. Her defence tactic would come as rude comments and not letting others really get to much of a 'friend' to her, she did not want to take that at all.
Candace would develop her interest in the military when she pick up books on the military, on historical aspects and read them one after another and smile. This worried her parents dearly, their sweet Candace was wanting something so different and they knew how much she wanted this. They would constantly try to distract her away from her passion and
Candace was confused. She didn't know because of this, if this was the choice she should make. She tilted her head and faced them, "I was just wondering-" before she could go on they shook their heads, "That's a no." Pinching her cheeks she would form a face of disgust and go out of the room sulking.
It was not until later, she developed the military, a place that she knew would be the right choice. She was fascinated and when she spoke it to her parents they would say. "Candace, no you can go so far don't you see?" Candace only sulked and wondered if her choice was actually normal?
Candace would sign her name to the military eventually and this disappointed them, she would quickly move from a normal life to one dedicated in the military at twenty years old. She would prove to be good at this, she loved her job and than came the outbreak. Candace found herself shaking in fear, she was scared and this time she could not take it. They were sent to move out and protect the quarters, she just wanted to get ready for an evacuation although, she was promised so much, Candace felt that this was it. There was no evacuation and no signs of hope, she would do her job like anyone else.
Anything else?-
Sample RP-
The static on the radio, the people panicking and running. "If only I could.."[/color] Candace mumbled to herself as she was assigned to keep the quarters guard. There they were, those monsters. Those things, she didn't know what they were but, they sure looked worse than the movies.
"They ain't gonna stop" One of the privates said to Candace, he looked just as scared as her as he would do as orders. Candace blinked and shook her head a few times, like anything else she could not believe this was happening. Her hands were shaking, her mind racing and everything around her seemed about twice as fast. "Move out people!" One of her officers ordered and Candace stood there like a statue wondering, what do I do, what should I do? One of the men pulled her from the wreckage.
"Where am I?" She asked him, blinking several times she didn't know where she was anymore. Was this home? Was this the city of New York? It sure didn't look like it. Everything was thrown, smashed and broken. That was what her hopes felt like and her eyes wandered to the very next thing happening. It felt like a movie, it felt like one of those movies and she was the character who didn't have a clue what to do.
"I -" She would find herself saying as the rest of her team would stare at her, one of them would whisper. "You crazy Corporal, just keep yourself quiet, just shut up." She was shocked to hear those words and if she wasn't in this type of situation she would be quick to react. She glared at him and whispered back. "Exactly what is this?" She would look around her and when they called her for this she never expected something so chaotic.
The place she called home was something she never could've imagined it to be, home was now temporary and she knew somehow, she had to keep it moving.
