Personality-
The one thing Ollie can’t stand the most is being told what he can and cannot do. It’s a sure way of getting on his nerves. And he reacts to that by usually doing what he’s told he cant do. Unless of he actually knows the person whose telling him this. Then he gives a fair amount of space to play with. But even those closest to him know he’s just not one to be told what to do. He constantly undermines and questions authority within reason. And he won’t have someone asserting themselves over him.
Though he may not look like it, Ollie is one of the most intelligent people you could meet; computer wise. He’s pretty quick minded and can solve and issue with relative. So long as he doesn’t get distracted. Which is pretty easy to accomplish, seeing how he is ADD. And if he gets sidetracked with other subject he’s not really able to go back to his original thought process till he’s finished what he got sidetracked on.He’s someone whose pretty comfortable in his own skin and is happy with who he Is and the choices he’s made.
But he hates to admit where he’s made a fault in doing something. He rather start over from square one and try to get it right again. And if he’s made a fault he doesn’t always spot it. and where as he won’t admit to it, he doesn’t mind if someone politely points it out to him. as it gives him the chance needed to correct it before it becomes an issue later. Ollie will just about flirt with anyone so long as they do so back. He doesn’t see any harm in it. and if it leads to something more serious then that good news for him. but he won’t let himself be treated like someones boy toy. He thinks better of himself than to just do that. And he’ll quickly snap off on someone h=who tries to treat him like a cheap one-timer.

History-
Oliver Benton was born 6/12/1992 at Manhattan Memorial Hospital to Zoey and Jim Benton. Olli was born the youngest of his siblings. He was the second child of his mother. But he was the fourth of his father. He had a pretty nice childhood growing up. Though he was always something of a mamma’s boy, and she’s who he took after. And he pretty much always got along well with his sisters. But being the youngest kid with three older sisters made him wasn’t easy. But in the end he became virtually inseparable from his sisters. Other than his parent they meant the world to him.
By the time he started middle school he was always the first to be picked on. But he was always first to take up for himself. As the only male of his sibling he felt he had to. Even with that in mind he knew his sisters took up for him as well. But it was around this time he became aware of his ever growing attraction to other guys, not the girls. Fortunately he came into accepting himself rather easily. He was raised to do what made him happy.
But it had taken him a couple of years to actually tell his parents. He never knew how they’d take it. But his sisters knew. His parents, at the time had had a hard time coming to terms with it. His mother took it worse more so than his dad did. He’d somewhat noticed it without anything having to be said to him. It took the half of his high school years for his mother to eventually come to terms with it. In the meantime he’d gone about his life the way he wanted to live it.
During his time in High School he learned he had a talent for computers. Everything about them was second nature to him. Soon he worked his way from working around school firewalls to all out computer hacking. There wasn’t much he couldn’t get into or figure out how to do. He didn’t get caught because he never got cocky about it. He didn’t take a risk if he didn’t have too. And he never took it overboard. Though his abilities in it were extraordinary he was always cautious about doing it. And then his laptop became his most valued possession. But things took a turn for the worst when the world changed. After the outbreak happened and he lost his parents he found himself living with Mike and Derek Lane and his sisters Kayla and Victoria at the Staten Island Museum.
Anything else?- (any other important information we should know?)
Sample RP-
Ollie sat in front of several computer screens. Well six to be more exact. It had taken him some time but he was able to rig these computers into the museums security systems. Which he only had to do since the security office was a complete wreak. But that ironically is where he set this place up. He thought is better because it was where all the wires came to. And nothing would have to be rewired. It had become an integral part of ensuring they’re safety. The place was like a vault. Locked up tight with only a couple was in and out and fully loaded with motion detectors and security cameras.
He had the entire system linked wirelessly and locked on a secured network. He’d done it himself, so he knew no one would be able to get into the system unless they were better than him; which few were. He’d done so so he’d be able to monitor things from his laptop anywhere in the place. So long as the generators held up. He had a couple ideas for using the dish of an old satellite in the museum for some kind of transmitter. And hopefully be able to send and receive messages to and from anyone else that could get them. But he knew that was a lost cause. He didn’t have everything he need. And there were parts and functions of the thing he didn’t yet understand how to work. He turned his head from the screen and he heard some knock on the open door.
